SEO Copywriting

I work with A-tier writers that service major media publications to provide copywriting that ranks and survives a legal review. Brief-driven pages, subject-matter interviews so there is genuine expertise on the page rather than a rewrite of page one of the results, and an editing pass that gets a draft through compliance without sanding off the point it was making.

Overview

What is SEO copywriting?

SEO copywriting is writing intended to rank in search and convert the reader who arrives, at the same time. It covers the structural work a search engine reads (title and heading hierarchy, entity coverage, internal links, schema-eligible passages, the answer stated early enough to be extracted) and the persuasive work a buyer reads: a clear claim, evidence for it, and an obvious next step. The two objectives conflict less often than people assume, and where they do, the reader wins.

At enterprise scale the constraint is rarely the prose. It is accuracy, brand voice and approval. Pages make claims that a regulator, a legal reviewer or a customer’s procurement team may eventually read, so the process includes subject-matter interviews to source real expertise, fact and source checking, and a review cycle with legal, compliance or product. Content that cannot clear that review does not publish, however well optimized it is.

Who it's for

You probably need this if…

  • 01Your writers produce clean copy that ranks for nothing because nobody ever gave them a brief.
  • 02Every page reads like it was written from the first page of Google, because it was.
  • 03Legal returns drafts stripped of every specific claim and the page no longer says anything.
  • 04Your product is genuinely complex and generalist writers keep getting the important details subtly wrong.

Key principles of SEO copywriting

Brief-driven writing

A brief names the search the page must win, the reader it is for, the angle, the evidence required and the internal links in and out of it. Writing without one produces competent prose about roughly the right topic that ranks for nothing. Most quality problems in enterprise content are brief problems, not writer problems.

SME interviewing

Original expertise cannot be researched from the first page of results, which is where every competitor also researched theirs. Thirty minutes with your solutions engineer, your implementation lead or a customer produces the numbers, the caveats and the failure modes that make a page worth citing rather than worth skimming.

On-page structure

Headings that match how the question is actually asked, the answer stated in the first paragraph, comparisons in tables rather than prose, and schema.org markup where a type genuinely applies. Structure is what makes a passage extractable by a search engine and quotable by a language model, and it costs nothing beyond deciding the shape before the writing starts.

The compliance pass

Legal and compliance reviewers remove risk, and left unmanaged they remove meaning with it. The editing pass finds the wording that keeps a claim defensible and still specific — attributing the number, qualifying the case, naming the condition — so the page clears review instead of becoming a page that says nothing at all.

What's included

Enterprise quality, not content-mill volume.

Briefs before drafts

Every page starts with the search it must win, the reader, the angle, the evidence required and the internal links in and out.

SME interviews

Thirty-minute sessions with your engineers, implementation leads or customers, turned into the specifics that make a page worth citing.

Structure & on-page

Heading hierarchy, early answers, comparison tables, entity coverage, internal links and schema.org markup where a type genuinely applies.

The review pass

Editing through legal, compliance or product review so the page clears approval with its claims and its point both still intact.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you use AI to write this?

For outlines, structure, first drafts and scale work, yes; it is good at those and pretending otherwise is theatre. It is bad at judgment, at original expertise and at knowing which detail matters, and it will invent a statistic with complete confidence. The interviews, the claims and the final edit are mine.

Can you write in our brand voice?

Yes, given something to work from (existing pages you think are right, a style guide if one exists, and one round of feedback on the first piece). Voice gets calibrated in the first two drafts, not described in a document.

How many pages can you produce a month?

Fewer than an agency, and that is the trade. On complex subjects with interviews and a legal cycle, a handful of substantial pages a month is the honest number. If you need thirty, you need a team, and I should be writing the briefs and editing.

Would you rewrite our existing pages?

Often that is the better spend. A page already sitting on page two with links pointing at it will usually beat a new page on the same topic, and rewriting costs less than commissioning. A content audit decides which pages qualify.
